A Smart Card or Integrated Circuit Card
(ICC) is any packet sized card embedded with integrated circuits. This
implies that it can receive input which is prepared, by using ICC
applications and delivered as an output.
There are two broad categories of
ICC’s:
® Memory cards contain only non –
volatile memory storage components and with some specific security logic.
® Micro processor cards contain
voltaic means memory and micro processor components.
Smart cards provide effective
business transactions in a flexible, secured, standard with minimal human in
