Write About Different Ways of Creating Presentation in Power Point?

Slides in power point can be created in the following ways. They are:-

1. Through Auto content wizard

2. Through Design Templates

3. Through Blank presentation


1. Through auto content wizard:- 

In the task pan under new presentation choose from auto content wizard then click “OK” button. Then auto content wizard screen appears.

® Click next see the different presentation option that are available.

Choose a presentation type:-

® As you continue working in the wizard, think about what your presentation best with your     needs.
® If you are not sure to choose then try general.
® Click next after you have chosen a presentation type.

Type of output :-

® The next screen asks what type of output will you use
® Since you will likely be doing on screen presentation click inside the circle next to on        screen presentation (or) choose another presentation type.
® Click next
® On the next screen you can type your presentation title add a footer if necessary
® Click next
® The best auto content wizard dialogue box appear
® Click finish.

2. Through design template:- 

To design a new presentation with a design template
® Open power point.
® In the task pane under new click, or from design template.
® A list of templates appears.
® Move your mouse pointer through the different designs or use the scroll bar.
® Click on the down pointing arrow in the grey box next to the template that you like.
® Choose apply to all slides.

3. Through Blank presentation: -

® To create a blank presentation you have to create your own colours, fonts, caption,   pictures etc……. in black presentation there is no ready made designs and colours are available.

1. Open power point.
2. A slide featuring a place for a title and sub title appears by the default you may design    your presentation with this slide or choose a different slide.
3. The new presentation pane appears on the right side of the screen
4. Under new ® Click blank presentation
5. A list appears.

Choosing a slide layout:-

1. Move your pointer over the layout or use the scroll bar in the slide layout pane.
2. A grey box appears on the right of each layout
3. When you find a layout that you like click the down pointing arrow and choose apply   select slide.

Adding background colour to the slide:-

1. Click on format ® Back ground. The back ground dialogue box appears.
2. Click on page besides automatic then the fill effects screen appears.
3. Click again on texture tab until effects dialogue box appears, we will get many back ground boxes.
4. Select any one of the above background box and click on “OK” button.
5. Then click on apply button in the subsequent box.

Choosing the font style, size and colour:-

1. Select font from format menu. Then font dialogue box appears.
2. Select a different font and font size from font dialogue box. you can also select the font    colour by clicking on.

 Which appears under colour tab.
3. Then click on “OK” button.

Inserting clip-art into a slide:-

To insert clip –art into a slide.

® In the outline view select the slide in which you want your clip –art to appear.
® Click the clip art button in the drawing tool bar.
® Click on the clip –art that we want to insert.
® Click on “OK” button.
® The clip –art appears in your slide.

Inserting pictures: -

® Click on insert ® Pictures ® from file.
® Navigate the folder where you have saved your picture.
® Click on the picture you want to insert in to the slide.
    Then click on insert.
