Those candidate have done their M.Sc in electronics can appear
for the BSNL TTA exam applicants ought to have 3 year Diploma courses kind of

Telecommunication Engineering.

Ability Section – III
The candidate's comprehension and understanding of General
English shall be tested through simple exercises. Questions on knowledge of
current events and of such matter of everyday observation and experience in
their scientific aspects as may be expected of an educated person. Questions will
also be included on events and developments in Telecommunications, History of
India and Geography. These will be of a nature, which can be answered without
special study by an educated person

I: General ability test
The candidate's comprehension and understanding of General
English shall be tested thorough simple exercises such as provision of antonyms
and synonyms, fill in the blanks and multiple choice exercise etc. This shall
also include questions on current events & General knowledge and such
matters of everyday observation and experience as may be expected of Diploma
holder.

BSNL Exam Pattern
The BSNL JTO exam will be of 3 hours duration with one Question
Paper containing the following 3 sections:-
For
JTO (Telecom):
- Section-I: Engineering stream: 50
questions
- Section-II: Engineering stream: 50
questions
- Section-III: General Ability Test:
20 questions
For
JTO (Electrical):
- Section-I: Electrical Engineering
stream: 50 questions
- Section-II: Electrical Engineering
stream: 50 questions
- Section-III: General Awareness: 20
questions
For
JTO (Civil):
- Section-I: Civil Engineering
stream: 50 questions
- Section-II: Civil Engineering

TTA
examination shall have a single
paper. This paper will have a time period of 3.00 hours. The total marks that
are carried by this paper are 200 Question.
The test is classified into 3 parts, divided are:
- General Ability Test - This part
shall have 20 questions
- Basic Engineering - This part
shall have 90 questions
- Specialization - This part shall
have 90 questions
Apply for BSNL Exam
Eligible candidates can procure the application by two methods.
They are:
- Online
Application:
It is possible for the candidates to download the application from and the
brochure from the authorized website of the BSNL. The filled up
application should be mailed to the office of the BSNL along with a DD of
Rs. 500/-. (No fees are necessary for the SC/ST candidates). All the
necessary documents should be attached with the form.
- Offline Application:
The
application fee can either be bought directly from the BSNL office of it can be
obtained through post. The price of the application fee is Rs. 500 for general
candidates. No fees are required from the candidates of the backward
communities.
Those
candidates who wish to receive their forms by post must send a request letter
to The Accounts Officer, BSNL, and CGMT's Office. A DD of the correct amount
along with the relevant documents must be sent along with the letter. The form
is supposed to be mailed by speed or registered post only. Website:
