Guides and grids:
Ø Guide:
Guides and the
grid help you position images or elements precisely. Guides appear as
nonprinting lines that float over the image. You can move and remove guides.
You can also lock them so that you don‘t move them by accident.
ü To use guides, go to view
menu and select rulers option
ü Rulers will appear in your image.
ü To set horizontal ruler,
then move your mouse pointer to horizontal ruler.
ü Click the mouse left
button and control button on the horizontal
ruler.
ü Drag your mouse.
ü A horizontal guide will appear.
ü For vertical guide move
your mouse pointer to vertical ruler.
ü Click the mouse left
button and control button on the vertical ruler.
ü Drag your mouse.
ü A vertical guide will appear.
Grid:
The grid is
useful for laying out elements symmetrically. The grid appears by default as
non printing lines but can also be displayed as dots. To use grids, go to view
menu and select show option, a sub menu will appears, in the sub menu select
grid option, grids will automatically appears in your image.
